Hôpital de La Tour has a team of highly-trained and skilled orthopedic surgeons specializing in each joint or group of joints. This depth of expertise therefore ensures that patients receive the best treatment for their medical condition or injury. The orthopedic care unit has 30 individual rooms and 2 suites. The suites have a generous surface area and a living room area. Here you are in a suite.

The care teams who look after you are also specialists, just like the surgeons and physiotherapists. This means that, even after your hip, knee or shoulder replacement surgery, you will be in an orthopedic care unit with nurses and nursing assistants who specialize in this area. This ensures you receive the highest standards of care.
Meals
Patients can choose from a selection of menus for their meals and can also order from our à la carte menu. They can eat in their room or in our restaurant if they feel well enough to do so. Loved ones can also enjoy meals with the patient in their room upon request.

Sports medicine center
In 2014 the sports medicine department at Hôpital de La Tour became a Swiss Olympic Medical Center in 2014. The team currently includes seven sports medicine physicians and several physiotherapists who work closely with the orthopedic surgeons to deliver care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. They share a common vision and an approach focusing on physical recovery following an injury and quality of life. 80% of the patients of our Sports medicine center do not play sport professionally or regularly but all patients benefit from the high level of competence which is offered to elite athletes.
As the largest sports medicine center in the Romandy region of Switzerland and an accredited Swiss Olympic Medical Center, Hôpital de La Tour boasts a cutting-edge infrastructure and state-of-the-art technology for rehabilitation and performance development.
