Mot du spécialiste

A pediatrist above all else, I am delighted to have the opportunity to treat children suffering from chronic gastrointestinal diseases at the Crohn’s and Colitis Center within the Hôpital de La Tour. Based on my extensive experience working in university hospitals in both Paris and Geneva, I offer diagnostic and therapeutic management for children suffering from chronic inflammatory bowel disease, digestive tract motility disorders, and chronic abdominal pain. Our aim is to offer multi-disciplinary care that takes account of the future transitional needs of young patients. The state-of-the art technology available at Hôpital de La Tour and collaboration with teams from other units makes it possible to carry out the necessary assessments to allow treatment of pediatric patients. With a particular focus and skill set in pediatric nutrition, I offer consultations for patients suffering from malnutrition as well as multidisciplinary follow-on care. In children with digestive or somatic diseases, it is especially important to monitor their growth.

Children are not just adults in miniature form and need to be viewed and listened to with that in mind, especially when they are living with a chronic gastrointestinal disorder.
