Dr. De Maesschalck treats all common ENT and cervico-facial (nose-throat-ear) pathologies, with a particular focus on ear disorders.
These include a diverse range of pathologies – such as otitis externa or otitis media, deafness, tinnitus, problems with the Eustachian tube – that require monitoring and adequate care.
As a specialist in cervico-facial surgery, he also treats any other condition requiring surgical care, such as perforation of the eardrum, cholesteatoma, exostoses, and certain types of deafness. For this type of surgery, a minimally invasive method (via the auditory canal) is used first. He places great emphasis on the functionality and restoration of hearing.
